We here at Event Scents LLC believe firmly that a company should have certain expectations of itself wth respect to being good community members, both from a business and a personal level.  We maintain 3 key ideals that are central to our professional & personal philosophies, which are keeping an eye towards Environmental Responsiblity and the impact our company has, a sense of Giving Back professionally by our business, and a passion for Volunteering at the individual level.  Continue reading on below to learn a bit more about how we embrace each of these ideals!

It is widely known and accepted that companies & businesses across the country and around the world are some of the largest users of our natural resources.  Here at Event Scents LLC we do everything we can to minimize our impact on the environment and the world around us.  How you may ask?

• We work to function as electronically as possible, via email & website & phone, in order to limit the the need for paperwork and usage of paper. 
• When we do need paper goods we search out & purchase recycled paper products.  This extends beyond the obvious buying of copy paper that has been recycled ... from the boxes & shipping materials we use all the way down to the paper towels in our breakroom & bathroom, and even the tags & stickers you find on our products.
• We reuse materials constantly, including our shipping boxes & manufacturing items.  For example, instead of buying cheap, disposable plastic droppers for use in putting the fragrance oils into the products we utilize glass droppers, which are washed by hand thoroughly after each use and re-used.
• The materials we use in our equipment systems, cartridges and sachets are recyclable.
• We put a focus on identifying & buying our goods & materials from local vendors, so that we may minimize as much as possible the carbon impact that occurs from long-haul shipping of goods.

We do these things because we believe they are the right things to do.

We have had a lot of help & assistance as we have gotten our business started, growing and moving along it's path, and it is our philosophy that companies should share & give back accordingly.  Many companies do give back, and it is highly commendable that they do, but many also put various "requirements" surrounding how & when they will give back.  Some tie it into profitability stating that they will donate a portion of their profits.  Others cap the total amount they will give back even as the products & services they are advertising as being part of the giving back campaign go through large sales increases.

We here at Event Scents LLC like to keep it simple.  5% of our total proceeds are donated annually to a variety of local charitable organizations in our community, as recommended and chosen by company employees.  Simple, the way it should be.

Individually, each of us here at Event Scents LLC volunteers their time and resources in a variety of different ways ... coaching youth sports, giving blood & plasma, donating clothing & other goods, and providing their time to work for charitable causes are but a few of the many ways.  As a company we not only support these activities, we actively embrace them!  That is why you will find our business taking 1 day every 3 months throughout the year, shutting our doors and volunteering our time as a group.  Each of us here takes a turn at choosing where we will volunteer, and it is always a day well spent together regardless of what we are doing!
